Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their sleepover – so much so that there was only 3 hours between the last one falling asleep and the first one waking up! They played games, set up and decorated their tents before cooking and eating their dinner.
Year 5 had a fabulous week out sailing filled with sunshine, singing and learning. The children all demonstrated that they could capsize and right their boats as well as sailing around a course (even when there was hardly any wind!) They worked hard to support each other helping to rig and de-rig each other’s boats. The children demonstrated a great understanding of the positions of the boats and sails required to best use the wind.
