In Maple Cross Explorers today, some groups learnt to create things by working collaboratively together. One group made home whilst another created fireworks. However, one group went on a scavenger hunt whilst another created fireworks using leaves. We hope you enjoy the photos of our learning.
Group 2 showed great collaboration skills during their natural necklace making activity today. The older children were particularly kind to the younger children, helping them to find and thread their resources. Another great week!
We set off in the beautiful, autumn sunshine to visit Rickmansworth Library. We travelled on the bus and walked to the library where we were met by the helpful library staff. We enjoyed having stories read to us, singing, colouring and choosing books to look at. Someone noticed that a book in the library was the same as one we have at school. At the end of the morning we were all given a book to take home and keep. The library staff commented on how well the children listened and how well behaved they were. We are very proud of them and we are sure you are too.
