We understand how hard it can be to juggle work with delivering and collecting your children, so we are very pleased to be able to offer the following services:
The Maple Cross JMI Breakfast Club is run by Mrs Lucy Bone and is supported by Mrs Teresa Chamberlain, Ms Katie Stickley, Ms Lucy Stickley and Ms Tina D’Souza.
Mrs Bone will take children aged 3-years plus, the Early Years Club will run alongside the existing Breakfast Club.
The club is open from 7:30am and the children have breakfast followed by a variety of activities including: keep fit, indoor football, board games, drawing, colouring and painting etc. Mrs Chamberlain is our catering manager who provides a varied breakfast menu including themed breakfasts for seasonal events such as pancakes for Shove Tuesday etc. Please ask at the School Office for more details.
Mrs Bone also runs the Maple Cross After School Club from 3:15pm – 6:00pm. There is an after school club for our younger children who attend nursery class in the morning and Butterflies Pre-school in the afternoon. Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.
A light tea is provided and the children have the opportunity to do their homework and take part in a variety of activities.
Her team also run a variety of clubs which incur an additional fee. One of our very popular clubs is the Boxing club, which runs for one hour straight after school, once a week and is led by Mr Jerome Newland who teaches the children basic boxing skills and how to use those skills safely.
Breakfast Club/After School Club – £4.00 per hour for children 5-years and over – £9.00 per hour for children under 5-years
Fees must be paid half termly in advance, to secure a place.
