Maple Cross school offer a wide variety of clubs.

Breakfast Club

Each morning there is a breakfast club from 7:30am-8:50am providing healthy well balanced breakfast, games and  activities for both inside and outside.

Children aged 5 plus  –  £4 per session
Under 5’s  –  £9 per session

After School Club

The Maple Cross After School Club runs from 3:15pm-6:00pm This provides a healthy well balances light tea, games and activities both inside and out.

Children age 5 plus  – £4 per session
Under 5’s  –  £6 per session

Mike’s Judo Club

Mike’s Judo Club is run by Sensei Ramon and Sensei Tyrell

Sensei Ramon has been a judoka (competitor) for over 15 years. He was formerly a member of the British Judo squad and is a three time British National Judo Champion and U20s 2012 Commonwealth Judo Champion.  Sensei Ramon also holds 13 British Judo National medals.  Sensei Ramon is a fully qualified BJA Level 1 coach and provides Judo to schools in the London/Outer London areas.  Sensei Ramon has competed for Great Britain all over the world including Russia, USA, Estonia and Western Europe.

Sensei Tyrell has been a judoka (competitor) for over 15 years. Judo is an Olympic sport created in Japan in 1882 with roots in ancient Samurai traditions.  Judo means ‘the gentle way’, and it is this principle of ‘gentleness’, which informs all Judo techniques.  Mike’s Judo Club sees Judo as a means for individuals to build confidence by positively expressing themselves through sport while learning resilience, respect, discipline, social skills and building meaningful relationships with peers.

Watford FC Football Coaching

Next academic year (2017/18) Watford FC will run after-school football club at Maple Cross School

Two groups will run on a Monday after school during the spring term 2018 from 8th January –  19th March 2018– –  3:15pm-4:15pm

Play Rangers is an activity club run by Three Rivers Leisure and operates in our school grounds term time only – all year round

Brass Tuition

Brass tuition is part of the curriculum for Years 4,5& 6  on a Wednesday

Large Group Lessons (30 minutes)  (6-10 pupils in a group)  £3.50 per lesson, £38.50 per term (11 lessons)
