Year 3 and 4 RE trip

London Central Mosque

It was a pleasure to have a day full of learning outside the classroom with children who were so respectful and eager to learn about other cultures and religions. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and were given every opportunity to ask questions to further understand the beliefs of those among us. I was so proud of the attitudes shown by all children throughout the day and all that we have learnt will benefit us greatly going forward in our learning of the world and those that live in it.

Y3 Fire Safety

Linking in with the sad events of the Grenfell tower fire, Y3 has been discussing and exploring what to do when in a fire. The children went around the school looking for objects that would help keep us safe. We have also discussed what to do if there was a fire at home.

Y3 and Y5 ICT

Today Y5 came into Y3 as ICT experts to show us how to use the explain everything app which links to our class project of fire safety. Y5 used everything they know about communicating clearly when explaining, to help the Y3 children use the app.

Tag Rugby – Year 3

The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to play Tag Rugby this term with such talented and polite students from St Clement Danes School. A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing community sports together. We are pleased to now be able to share that going forward into the summer term they will now be learning cricket and golf skills.
