Moggerhanger Park

Orienteering, den building, mini raft building, designing structures with nature and exploring the woods! What a fantastic day of outdoor learning!

Year 4 spent the day at Moggerhanger Park and experienced, first hand, the joys of learning outside.

We focused on our communication skills, developed our ability to solve problems by learning collaboratively, had the opportunity to build on our enquiry skills and all experienced something new!

Come and ask us what we found out!

  1. We really enjoyed hosting the day. The children were very well behaved, used their collaborative skills and worked independently to solve problems. We had five key aims; developing confidence in a different learning environment, problem solving, willingness to have a go, listening and responding to other opinions and ideas together with raising thoughtful questions. We would be very interested in what the children thought and how they use these skills in school and at home
