With this in mind, yesterday’s Buddy Point recognition day was an opportunity to praise those children who show consistently motivated approaches to learning.
This means that the 91 bronze and silver badges that I handed out are not to be seen as medals of success, but more powerfully, they identify role models for the rest of the community. Learning role models: Children who can share ideas on how to learn even more effectively.
I took the opportunity, building on our Emotion Coaching development, to ask the children how the journey had felt. Did successful learners have different emotions?
